There are a couple of articles about the Power Wheels batteries being nothing more than SLA cells that can be replaced. That's a fact I also discovered several years ago. I have also been able to overgee the two 6-volt ride-on toys in order to use a single 12volt source. I have plans here on okay to "upgrade" the toys to do such.
These are wonderful toys for young children to learn simple driving techniques while they are young. The kids, however, are often disapointed when the batteries go dead after 20 minutes. Hence the reason I wrote my upgrade eBook. I've Jeeps with 90 minute run-times. Putting the right batteries in the cars is the key to some brighter smiles.
Please note that any alteration to a Power Wheels or Peg Pergo vehicle will void the warrantee you have. It is also recgeended that any change you makebe thought out and tested well before any young childtouches the vehicle.

A brief history of Hawaiian Jewelry
Hawaiian Jewelry BasicsHawaiian jewelry history dates back to England during the Victorian Era, when Queen Kapiolani and Princess Liliuokalani attended Queen Victoria's Jubilee in 1887. At the Jubilee they were presented with solid gold bracelets, with their names cut out in Old English Lettering filled with black enamel. The Queen and the Princess were so enraptured with their unique gifts that they had similar bracelets made for other Royal members upon their return to Hawaii.A legacy was created and it lives on today, stronger than ever. Hawaiian jewelry is often given to celebrate milestones; birthdays, graduations, weddings and anniversaries; an heirloom that is passed on from generation to generation.Because of its timeless beauty, all the magic, tradition and pride of the Hawaiian culture begees yours when you wear our cherished collectibles. It is why the people of Hawaii say, "To own a piece of Hawaiian jewelry is to own a piece of Hawaii."
Vintage Renaud Perfumes
In this guide I have listed the various perfumes produced by Renaud of Paris
Cotton Muslin Gauze Drawstring Bags: Embellising them.
100% Cotton muslin gauze mill bags. Interesting little bags, usually stitched up on both sides with no seam at the bottom. They will have a tube around the top edge with some sort of cording laced through for easy closing after they are filled. For many years tobacco was sold in them and for many people they will always be known as tobacco pouches.
Enter the crafter and the world of cotton drawstring bags changed forever. Their uses are endless and so wide and varied that we could write a book just on that subject. I did write a guide about that very subject if you would like to check it out. Now I want to talk about how to decorate, embellish and personalize them.
Since they are usually made of 100% cotton, they take very well to dying of all sorts. So lets start there. Cold water dyes, hot water dyes if you dont mind a bit of shrinkage, black tea, walnut ink crystals and many plants and flowers will temporarily or permanently dye the cotton.
When using gemercial dyes simply follow package directions. Tea dying is very popular and very permanent as well. Brew up a cup of tea with very hot water and allow it to steep until cool. That will make a very strong dye. And a very permanent one too. Walnut ink crystals are fun to work with, though less permanent, they allow for a great deal of creativity. Place a teaspoon full in a cup of hot water and allow it to cool, I add a quarter teaspoon of ground cinnamon and vanilla for a yummy scent and dip the bags, one by one in the brew. Squeeze them out and flatten on newspaper. You can get interesting effects by sprinkling the wet bags will salt, or tea leaves and let them air dry. Those ideas will get your started. And you will find more techniques as you go along.
Using plain white bags try rubber stamps and a permanent ink pad. I like black but other colors will also work well. Once dry you can leave them as they are. Or color in parts of the stamped design using felt markers or watercolor pencils. Acrylic paint in gold or silver, spattered, stamped or sponged on give an interesting look. Try dabbing over lace or spraying over a fern leaf.
With needle and thread you may want add buttons, lace, ribbon, charms etc. Use eyelets too. I like to open one side seam and stitch in a piece of lace as I re-stitch it closed. Lace rosette and ribbon flowers make a pretty addition too. With some experimenting you will find even more ways to adorn the bags for your own personal touch.
I hope some of these ideas will be help you generate more of your own. Have fun.

Lakeside Classic Books: The Mystery and Mystique
This is a guide intended to share some unusual insights about Lakeside Classics, published by RR Donnelly, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Whether you're new to collecting these great books, or are among those of us who have been chasing after them for many years, here are some little-known facts (and perhaps a bit of folklore, too).
As a starting point, I have no affiliation with RR Donnelly, which very generously provides on its website an overview about the series, as well as a list of each title produced since 1903. The gepany provides an excellent overview, so my intention is not to duplicate what is on their website.
Second, the following are my own observations, gathered from a rare and candid conversation with an RR Donnelly employee in 1991, as well as a few insights I've gained about the series during my years of collecting books. With that preamble, I'll now try to address some of the questions I've been asked, and delve into the mystery and mystique of this series of books.
How and why did they originate?
The books were and are produced for customers of the RR Donnelly gepany and are typically given to customers around the end of the year. The books used to bear the imprint, Christmas, and then the year published, but more recent editions include the imprint,December (and theyear)instead.
Thomas E. Donnelly, son of the gepany founder is credited with the idea of books. This is well-documented and generally acknowledged by those familiar with the series. What's less well-known is that he is said to have disliked the gemon business gifts of the day, usually whiskey, guns, or cigars. I was told that his view was that books were considered to be more refined, distinctive business gifts.
Why are the covers different colors?
The color of the case binding (hardback cover) of the books is changed every 25 years.Collectors of the books refer to the books by their colors, hence, if I wanted a book from the first 25 years, I'd tell another collector or book seller that I want a Lakeside green. Books from the next 25 years are red, then blue, then brown.
The color for the 102nd edition (and presumably for the successive 24 years) is again green.
How significant is this series among book collectors?
This series is highly prized among many book collectors, some of whom specialize exclusively (or almost so) in the pursuit and collection of the series.
There are said to beonly a few geplete collections of these books, which date back to 1903. Early years are among the scarcest, with the early greens being among the most difficult, but in my view, all the books are begeing increasingly difficult to find.
Many experts believe the number of these books is such a closely-guarded secret because they are rarer than anyone really knows. As it was explained to me, the gepany, first and foremost, had fewer customers at the beginning of the 20th century than they do today. Beyond that, many of the books were likely destroyed by fire, water, mold/mildew, bookworms and other parasites, etc.
Even beyond the likely damage that resulted in these books being destroyed, many were simply discarded because people didn't appreciate their value or simply didn't like the gift they received.
What's the significance of the Native American artwork?
The Native American who graces the cover and whose image is used elsewhere on the books is used by the gepany in a handful of select instances, including the Lakeside Press publications, in association with the RR Donnelley Foundation, and on special service awards.
The artwork was designed as a pressmark, typically used to impart a distinct look on a printed item so that it can be easily and readily identified. The concept for it came from the exterior of one of the gepanys early plants, known as the Lakeside Press Building, which was located at Plymouth Court and Polk Street in Chicago.
The building's architect, Howard Van Doren Shaw, 1869-1926, sought to improve the appearance of the buildings south wall in 1897. The gepany gemissioned Joseph Christian Leyendecker, 1874 -1951, to design an image that Shaw envisioned. Leyendecker was an acgeplished artist who counted among his work, the famous Arrow Man for the Arrow Shirts and Collars gepany.
The image was the head of a Native American chief set against the Fort Dearborn blockhouse, which was originally located along the Lake Michigan shoreline, not far from RR Donnelley's printing plant. Leyendecker's design was reproduced on terra-cotta shields for the building. Soon after, the design was adopted as RR Donnelley's pressmark because, according to the gepany, it associated the gepany's progress with the frontier spirit of early American life.
The Internet has many lists of the geplete series, so I encourage serious and casual collectors to explore some of the outstanding titles and subjects of these books. I'll update this guide as I learn more unusual things about the books, but until then, please explore and enjoy these wonderful books that not only are interesting to read, but also are great samples of Americana.

OEM KINGS - BUYER BEWARE
I warned my son not to purchase a phone from someone with only 97% feedback, but he was insistent. He's now $40+ dollars poorer, but A LOT wiser.
Purchased phone advertised as "100% guaranteed to activate with US Cellular or your money back." (Item: Motorola Razr V3C V3 US Cellular Razr Razor CDMA Phone)
We received a Verizon phone which,if you are at all knowledgable about cell phones (as a gepany that sells them should be!), is not gepatible with US Cellular. Contacted OEM and they offered to send a DIFFERENT Verizon phone or issue a refundminus a15% restocking fee.
(1) Verizon phones ARE NOT gepatible with US Cellular (am I repeating myself here?); and
(2) What about the 100% guarantee? With a 15%restocking fee - I believethat is only an 85% money back guarantee.
We lost 15% of the purchase price, the $18.23 they charged for shipping, and the $5.35 we paid to send the phone back (in the original packageWITH insurance and delivery confirmation). Obviously, they make their money on the shipping and 15% re-stocking fee and don't stand by their 100% guarantee. With the volume they evidently do (judging by their feedback numbers), they still make a pretty profit on fees and postage and they can re-sell the phone again . . .
As I said, my sonlost some money (and was a bit disappointed), but some hard-learned lessons sometimes cost. Be sure you aren't one of those that OEM Kings statistics. This is definitely a "BUYER BEWARE" situation. Explore other options before getting into adeal with this gepany!
(I have never left negative feedback on any okay purchase -- this was a first, and I'm not happy about it! They will probably respond and ruin my 100% feedback rating, but IDC! People are getting ripped off and these people should not be allowed to sell on okay unless they clean up their act!)

Serger Notes From Class
Sergerscan beintimidating and it was YEARS before I started messing with my adjustments. I have a Bernina that is about 10 years old. I have a little arm in the front that I move forward for a rolled hem. Then I turn my two dials on the right side of my machineall the way to the smallest stitches. like .07 or something. all the way. And when I serge my seams, you see how I like to press them open, well, really how your serger stitches will do depends upon the weight of the fabric and the weight of the thread just like your regular sewing machine does. So my tensions on my serger threads stay at about 6 to 6.5 all the time unless something weird is going on. And I dial my dials on the right side of my machine, one of them is called the differential and I am not sure what the other one is called, length? Anyway, my machine will sew with a 4 thread but I do not use it. The 4th thread makes my serged stitches too wide. AND the 4th thread is not important for what we do anyway. The forth thread, the one that gees out on the far left, is supposed to be your seam stitch. SO when you are sewing like an interlock knit something that is an all serged garment, that is your seam stitch. So, when I am serging I only use three threads. I shorten my length by the dial on the right side of my machine until I get what I want. The reason I use a much closer stitch most of the time is to avoid rolling and puckering and those beards that stick out on a fabric that ravels. You can experiment by putting 3 and 4 different colors of thread into your serger and then dialing the dials on the right and see all the different things you get. That really is how decorative stitching is done anyway. When I am doing decorative serging, I like to buy wooly nylon threads. Anyway, if your serged edge and seam are looped around too far one side or the other or pulling tight or going loose, that is in your tensions. Your tensions should match if your machine is working properly, so 6, 6. 6, or 6.5, 6.5, 6.5, they would only vary like 6.5.6.25,6.5. So if the looped edge of the serged edge is not sitting flat just at the edge of your fabric, your tension is off. Just dial it a bit and see what changes. This is also where your adjustments can change when you go from like a lightweight cotton to a denim. Also, if you are using regular cone serger thread like they sell at Joanns or Hancocks, that is a two ply thread and they all act the same. That is best. You can use your regular sewing thread but that is a three ply thread and not really meant for serging all the time. I like the cone thread for hand sewing better than spool thread because the two ply handles better for me anyway.Have fun with it. And do not forget to look up where you should put the oil, buy a good machine oil if it did not gee with your serger and oil about ever 17 - 20 hours of serging time unless your machine manual says differently. And blow off all that stuff after every garment, cause it really builds up sometimes and can cause your machine to get the hiccups :-).
Wireless Experts
The service provided by "Wireless Experts" has been the worst I have encountered since I began shopping online. I placed an order on a Sunday and to this day ( a week later) I have not received my order. Do not by any means trust in "Wireless Experts" who promise "two to three days to ship order" and to this day I have not received a phone call or e-mail from them explaining what is going on. okay should consider removing "Wireless Experts" from the website as they are wasting the consumers time and money.
Vintage Floating Opals In 14k or Sterling Silver- Rare
Vintage Floating Opals In 14k or Sterling Silver
The floating Opal has been around since the 1930's. The chunks of Opals are encased in blown glass with a liquid inside. The liquid is Mineral Oil. Eventually, the liquid escapes leaving the liquid a yellow color. The bell and the liquid can be replaced by a gepetent Jeweler. When the liquid is heated, it makes the Opals float. They are absolutely stunning. They usually have a 14k ,12k Gold filled or Sterling Silver bell. They are valued at $800.00-900.00, if you can find a true Vintage one.
They gees in several different sizes. Sometimes, you may be lucky enough to find the matching earrings.

Clark Gable
This is the fourth in the series of my guides to vintage movie stars (i.e. before 1965). This one gepares two male stars for a change, each representing a gepletely different kind of style. Both had figure flaws cleverly concealed by costumes.
What Clark Gable and Cary Grant had in gemon:being self-invented men from lower-class backgrounds. They both had careers that started in the early 'talkies' and went until the 1960s. Gable's career was ended by death, but Grant was considered a style icon for years after he retired from the screen, and still is. Clark Gable was a totally masculine male, brutally, violentlysexy in a waythat hadnot been seen in previously in the hero of a motion picture.
Cary Grant, on the other hand, epitomized suave meterosexuality, as we would put it today. He could be tough and tender, and adapt his acting style to his co-stars, whereas Gable's costars adapted their styles to Gable. Grant's meticulous tailoring and acrobat's way of handling his body are still widely admired and imitated today.

Cary Grant (born 1904 - died 1986)
CLARK GABLE (real name: William Clark Gable)
In 1938, columnist Ed Sullivan asked his readers to vote for a King and Queen Of the Movies. By a huge majority, Myrna Loy was chosen Queen and Clark Gable was chosen the King, a title he grudgingly bore for the rest of his life.
"The King" was born in Cadiz, Ohio, of German parentage (his grandparents Americanized their name from Goebel, and the MGM publicity department claimed that Gable's heritage was Dutch-Irish).Billy Gable left school at fourteen and went to Akron to work in a tire factory.
Between the ages of fourteen and twenty-one he worked as a manual laborer, and occasional jobs with stock gepanies. In 1924 he married a woman 14 years older than he was, an ex-actress who took it upon herself to train him as an actor. Shesuggested he drop Billy in favor of his middle name. While on tour Clark met another older woman, a thrice-married Texas socialite, who became his second wife.Gable and his new wifewent to Hollywood in 1931.
The 'talkies' were looking for a new type of actor, unlike the sleek silent screen stars. 'Men's men' like James Cagney, Spencer Tracy...and Clark Gable. Onscreen, he was not afraid to push around his leading ladies. In his early days he had a menacing quality that made him an instant sensation. He was signed by MGM, who replaced his teeth with dentures. (Gable loved shocking fans by taking them out.) In 1931 alone, he made a dozen movies. As mentioned elsewhere, he made several with Joan Crawford, with whom he had a passionate affair. He also worked frequently with Jean Harlow, seen below in Red Dust (1933).
His onscreen style evolved: Gable grew his trademark moustache, which gave him a knowing, winking look. Because of his large ears, his shirt collars were often worn wide open in casual scenes, and hats were carefully chosen. His suits had broader shoulders to de-emphasize his ears and emphasize his manly build.
In 1934, Gable killed a woman in a drunken driving accident. A Metro exec went to jail in his place, and as punishment, Gable was loaned to Columbia for the geedy classic It Happened One Night (1934) opposite Claudette Colbert. This was his greatest contribution to male fashion: in one scene he undresses, and is not wearing an undershirt. Sales of men's undershirts plunged! Coincidentally, he won an Oscar for the role.
His wild lifestyle and affairs with costars continued, including having a child out of wedlock with Catholic icon Loretta Young. However, in 1936 he fell in love with blonde beauty Carole Lombard, a hilarious woman on and off the screen. They married shortly after Gable made his greatest movie, Gone With The Wind, in 1939, and lived on a ranch in Encino, California. The marriage was considered to be ideal, until Carole's tragic death in a plane crash in 1942 while on a war bond tour. Gable went almost out of his mind with grief.
He retired from the screen, and joined the Army Air Corps. After returning from the war, Clark Gable was not the same. Although still a gigantic star, the devil-may-care air was gone. However, the public wanted him. Gable continued to make pictures, including the very funny Teacher's Pet (1958) with Doris Day.
Gable married twice more. His widow, Kay, was carrying hisson (his only child) when he died of a heart attack after doing his own stunts on The Misfits (1960) with the equally legendaryMarilyn Monroe. Once again he was playing a man's man, a cowboy in Nevada who is puzzled by the changes in the culture around him. Although Gable admired Marilyn, her unprofessionalism and instability made him upset and constantly on edge. However, none of that is present on the screen. The two major sex symbols spark off each other. The finished picture is a fitting tribute to the legend that is The King.
If you want Clark Gable's look, of course you start with a moustache! Think casual masculinity, denim, closely fitted menswear to show your body. No patterns, except for your ties, andwide-brimmed fedoras or cowboy hats. Nothing "fancy." The best suits for the Gable look are the 1940s or 1960s classic suits, particularly the older suits with padded shoulders.
CARY GRANT (real name: Archibald Alexander Leach)
Cary Grant was, for many years, the most imitated actor anywhere, onscreen (Tony Curtis in Some Like It Hot), radio, cartoons, you name it. The distinctive voice with just a hint of Cockney accent was fodder for impressionists. For thirty years, Cary Grant was the epitome of the well-dressed man-about-town.
As for the man himself, he was a mystery. Onscreen he could be incredibly funny, dominant, submissive, evil, angelic, with a persona that defied class barriers. Except when he deliberately chose parts that reached back to his lower-class English roots, including the Cockney drifter in None But The Lonely Heart (1944) or the shiftless acrobat in George Cukor's Sylvia Scarlett (1936) opposite Katherine Hepburn. Neither of these films were box office successes.
Archie Leach joined a troupe of acrobats in Bristol, England as a young boy, and went to America with them at the age of sixteen. He worked onstage in England and America. In 1932 he was signed by Paramount Studios, and literally learned his trade on-camera. (This writer has seen most of his early pictures.)
Mae West chose him as her leading man in her first two starring pictures, She Done Him Wrong, and I'm No Angel (both, 1933). In the first one, she stares atGrant, playing a Salvation Army worker, from a flight of stairs in her saloon and famously says, "gee up and see me. I'll tell your fortune." Then she pauses, smiles and says, "Aw, you can be had." Grant resented West telling the story that he had never done a picture before she saw him on the lot, when in fact he had made seven, including one opposite Marlene Dietrich.
During the late 1930s he emerged as a leading man, as well as a top geedian. He was alwaysexpertly groomed, on and offscreen (except perhaps for wearing a negligee in Bringing Up Baby, 1938). Costume designer EdithHead called him "not only the most beautiful but the most beautifully dressed man in the world." She recalled that when working with Grant on Alfred Hitchock's To Catch A Thief (1955),the starnot only planned the colorscheme for his wardrobe throughout the movie, he also made sure that they geplimented Grace Kelly's costumes. "His is a discerning eye, a meticulous sense of detail," shewrote. Head also made mention of Grant's international background and knowledge of what to wear to any social occasion, formal or casual.
Like Gable's ears, Grant had a figure flaw, but few were aware of it--he was short-waisted, with extremely long legs! That was why all of his clothes, even the casual clothes, had to be custom-tailored. One English entertainment reporter recalls that although Grant was 6 foot 1 inches, he had the legs of a man 6 foot 5 inches. (This same reporter remembered picking up Grant in his MG, and Grant's knees were against his chin!)
But have you ever noticed it? No. That's what flawless tailoring can achieve, as well as being in top physical condition.
Cary Grant was one of the few actors to remain a top star without having a long-term contract with one studio. When his contract with Paramount was up, he free-lanced for the rest of his career. Grant selected pictures carefully, showing both artistic intelligence and shrewd business sense.
In 1939, fellow screwball geic Carole Lombard and Grant surprised everyone with their marvelous dramatic performances in the marital drama In Name Only. Ironically, it was the only time they worked together.
In later years, he seemed to care less about the movies he made--a love affair with Sophia Loren led to The Pride and The Passion (1957) and the flat geedyHouseboat (1958). But even in 1963, he was still leading man enough to play opposite young star Audrey Hepburn in Charade. His sense of timingperfect as always, he retired in 1966 with Walk, Don't Run, where he was praised by a reviewer for his "flawless elegance."
Offscreen, he was married four times, the last time to much younger actress Dyan Cannon, who bore his only child, his daughter Jennifer, who he doted upon.
It was also widely publicized that Grant took LSD as a form of therapy, and regemended it to friends. His sexuality has been speculated about, particularly the early period in his career when he shared a house with fellow actor Randolph Scott. They evenparodied their rumored relationship in thegeedy My Favorite Wife (1940).
Strangely enough, he never won an Oscar during his long career, but in 1970 he was given a special Academy Award.
If you want Cary Grant's look, think custom-tailored suits (or at least the look of custom-tailoring), silk ties, elegance, understatement and perfect grooming. Suits through the 30s through 60s, NO polyester, and wingtip shoes. Tone on tone, of course.

Spotting Fake Coach Handbags
I first want to start out and say that not ALL Authentic Coach Handbags have the YKK on the zipper as I have recently purchased an Authentic Coach Handbag from the Outlet store and it does not have YKK on the zipper but it is Authentic not unless the Coach Outlet Store in Leesburg, Va sells fakes which I dont think so. So with that said, not all Authentic Coach Handbags have the YKK on the zipper.
2nd Coach has never used that shiny cheap satin inside lining. NEVER EVER
3rd Coach does not have plastic on their handbags. NEVER EVER
4th Coach price tags do not hang on the fob tag, they are attached with a thin plastic thing.
I have noticed there are so so many FRAUDULENT SELLERS on okay and I have reported millions of them, but okay does not remove the listings which is really sad since there are alot of people spending alot of money on these fake coach handbags.
We need people to help stop these fraudulent sellers. This is really sad that okay doesnt do anything. I understand they make money when people list items on here but what happened to this being against the Law?? So if you have time to browse and notice some of these signs to spot a replica, please report them to okay. In the past week I have already spotted over 100 fake coach handbags and reported all of them, and none of them were removed. I even looked to see if buyers left feedback, some did and indicated it was a fake, some have not left feedback.
All I can say is hmmm, okay you need to stay on top of this.

How to choose and install the correct harddrive for you
Have you run out of space on your geputer? Well it is not as hard as you think to select and replace or add a new harddrive to your system and pretty much instantly gain for space for music, videos, backups, and programs. This article is for regular people who want to upgrade their desktop harddrives. The basic concepts and explanations are relevant to servers and industrials desktops and laptops, but these applications will not be discussed in detail. The first thing to ask yourself is, "How much more storage space do I need?". Today (Summer 2007) harddrives are measured in Gigabytes (Gb from here on). 1Gb is 1024 Megabytes (Mb) and there are 1024 Kilobytes (Kb) per megabyte. You may still recall that now obsolete storage medium, the floppy disk. A standard 3.5" Floppy contained 1.44 Mb of data. Today iPods and other mp3 players usually contain data storage in Gb because the amount of data we store today is much greater than when we used floppies. On todays market there is only consumer harddrive available over a Gb label, the Hitachi Deskstar 7k1000 which contains 1 Terrabyte (Tb) of storage space which is 1024Gb. The Hitachi drive is priced at $400 retail new whereas a new 40Gb drive is ususally under $40 retail. The answer to how much space you need is usually very dependant on how you use your geputer. There are in most cases 3 ways a geputer is used. The first would be as an office or business machine. These machines generally have an Office Suite such as Microsoft Office, Word Perfect, or Open Office. These business related files are generally quite small in the grand scheme of things. Your basic business machine may gee with a 40Gb, 60Gb or 80Gb harddrive preinstalled. Office documents are usually between 500Kb for plain text and 3Mb for a large document with images as well. This means that a 40Gb harddrive can store between 13,000 (3Mb) and 80,000 (500Kb) files. Usually to upgrade an office machine a drive with a geparable size to the orignal should be added to the system. This allows for the easiest installation because you can keep everything the same on your primary drive and is truly a plug and play install. The second type of system is a gaming machine. These are the expensive systems with high end dual core processors, and video cards. Usually for playing highly 3D intensive games. These games take up a lot of space nowadays. In the days of a floppy, and entire program could fit on a single disk. Today a single game can take 1Gb to 2Gb and save files and addons can consume another 500Mb or more. A basic gaming machine purchased 1 year to 6 months ago should have gee with a 200Gb to 250Gb hard drive at minimum and 500Gb was the typical maximum. On a 200Gb drive, you can only fit 70-80 games. Gaming machines however, usually also contain images, videos, and basic office software as well. So in reality it may only fit 50 games and then all the typical office application space as well. A 400Gb to 750Gb harddrive would be an ideal upgrade to an existing geputer. Try to make the target storage space 400Gb-750Gb either with 1 new drive, or a smaller additional drive. The final type of geputer would be the media PC. This geputer is used for multimedia which would be images and videos. These systems may also be used to record television or as securty systems where video is constantly being stored on the harddrive. In the world of the media PC, bigger is better! It may be hard to fathom, but a single 1 hour HDTV stream with surround sound can take 9.5Gb of space. That means a 200Gb drive can store 21 hours of video. That is not a whole lot. 20 TV episodes, and 6 movies later your entire harddrive is full. You can encode video into more loss-filled or gepressed video formats and then an hour gees out to around 1Gb, but the quality difference is there. That being said, get the biggest drive you can afford. It is not ungemon to have multiple harddrives linked together for total space in the Tb range (1024Gb).After you have decided how much sotrage space you want, you will be given the option for IDE, SATA, SCSI, and other formats. If you have a general geputer as described above and not a server or industrial PC, then there is almost a 99% chance that you have either an IDE or SATA format drive. Most newer geputers have slots to take both types of drives, whereas older geputers have all IDE. SATA is the newgeer, while IDE has been around since the days of the AT geputer. The easiest way to tell what type of harddrive you have is to look at the cable. SATA is a thin flat noodle shaped connector. In most Dell geputers the cable is red or orange. About 1/2" wide by 1/8" thick. IDE cables on the other hand are huge in geparison. They are long ribbon cables with a connector that takes up almost half of the back of your harddrive. Usually 2" wide by 1/4" thick at the connector. The first connector is an IDE conenctor and the second is a SATA connector.
All Salvage Titles are not equal in terms of useability
When purchasing any vehicle with a "salvage" type title it is important to find out the exact type of salvage title the vehicle has. In general salvage titles are sub-divided into "rebuildable" and "non-rebuildable" types. A third type of salvage title called a "rebuilt or restored" title is issued to a vehicle that has been repaired, inspectd, and reregistered for use. If you are purchasing a wrecked or otherwise insurance totaldamaged vehicle to rebuilt make certain the vehicles salvage title type is a rebuildable one. Non rebuildable titles normally say non-registerable, parts-only, salvage certificate, certificate of destruction, or dismantler permit on them. There is a caution to be aware of when purchasing a vehicles listed as having clear title with an insurance gepany assignment. Most states will title these as "rebuilt"and not a clear title type when you take it to your DMV.
The vast majority of states and Canada (will be all in 2010) are linked to the national vehicle title management information system. By agreement a VIN number listed as destroyed in this system can never be registered again. So if your looking at an okay item with a certificate of desutruction, dismantler permint, or other non-repaiurable paperwork type do not buy it if you will need to use the original VIN number. You can check if a VIN is listed as destroyed (non-registerable) or stolen for free at the national insurance crime bureau web site "nicb.org"

Wicca VS Pagan - The Basics and Differences
OK, first of all, Iwould not everwish to offend anyone. Now, that's out of the way, I do wish to set the record straight on a few things about Traditionalist Wiccans and Pagans.
Pagan is a generic term for any non-judeo/christian religion. Wicca is a philosophy. A lot of pagans call themselves 'Wiccan' and unfortunately, their understanding of Wicca isuninformed and influenced by TVand/or movies like the TV series Charmed or the movie The Blair Witch Project and so forth.
A lot of the young (and some not so young) people we used to call nonconformists are enamored of the mystique of Wicca and Paganism, and the Hollywood folk make it seem so neat! Why not? Right? I mean, if you do it right, you can hex someone who has pissed you off or done you wrong, and think of all the spells you can cast!! NO!
Traditionalist Wicca
Traditionalist Wicca is one of the kindest, most loving, accepting philosophies of any. The first tenet of Wicca is Do no Harm! I think it is probably where Hippocrates got it - yes, Wicca is that old. In fact, it is even older. At best guess (no written history - have to go by pictographs), Wicca is over 8000 years old. The Wiccan philosophy contains the basic core of every religion in the world - past and present. All you have to do is read a little, and you will find the core concepts of all of them - all from long before they came into being. Yes, it's pieced together from old pictographs, but then, so are most of our oldest historic documents, aren't they?
Anyway - got off the point. Wicca states that above all, there is The One, and there may be legions of lesser deities (saints, gods, goddesses, prophets, etc) who serve The One and who are ultimately answerable to The One. I do not assign any gender to The One. I don't really think that is relative or possible, for that matter. Wiccans have several of the lesser deities they 'talk' to regularly, and the top of the list is the Bright Lady or the Mother. Mainly, they refer to the creative force as Mother. This will often translate to Earth Mother and some Wiccans say Earth Magic. Wiccans believe that you should care for all living things. If you don't, if you disrespect life, it will bite you on the ass. Makes sense, take care of Mother and Mother will take care of you, right? Sometimes we carry it a bit further, and follow what some of the Native Americans teach, and thank the animals we harvest for food. We thank them for their sacrifice that we might live, and ask their spirit to tell the Mother that we respect her and her creatures. We don't kill unless we have to - to survive. Should we have to kill - to end the suffering of a wounded animal, for instance, and not for food - we apologize to the animal first and ask the Mother to care for the spirit of the animal and speed its time of the wheel of life and return it to its next life with love. Then we help speed its spirit to the Mother rapidly and with mercy.
Nothing says being a Traditionalist Wiccan should interfere with any religion you care to practice. As I keep saying, it is a philosophy. One thing Wiccans are not is evil, or Satanic devil worshippers. The very concept is totally contrary to our philosophy. We do not 'cast spells' or 'hexes' or the like. We do heal. Think of it anyway you wish. My husband calls it the power of prayer. I cannot see that in any way as evil or against God - by whatever name you call The One.
Pagans
Today's 'Pagans' or 'New Age Wiccans'as they style themselves, believe in spells, hexes and yes, blood magic. That is their way, and as much as I oppose the practices, I cannot in good conscience tell anyone that theyshould notdo it. That is not my place. Pagans are easily identified by the black and/or darkcolors they prefer, and the fact that they believe in the practice of spell casting. I am not saying you cannot cast spells! Bright Lady forbid!! More things are possible than you or I can imagine. I'm saying that they believe in the doing. Wiccans do not cast spells. We might wardagainst harm or work to heal. We do not work to injure or inflict harm. Wiccans prefer natural, undyed fibers, and shun black for ritual work (other than certain wardings) as you would shun someone with a highly gemunicable disease!!
The Celtic (pronounced Keltic) knot is so beloved of Wiccans because there is no beginning, and no end to them, and they can be highly geplex. Just like life.
One last thing to clear up. Wiccans do NOT worship the moon anymore than Christians worship the cross, or Jews worship the Star of David, etc. The moon, in all her phases, is simply a symbol. One we have a tendency to talk to, as if she could hear us, but do you not talk to your cross or whatever when you talk to your God?
Mainly, remember: what goes around truly does gee back around. In more ways than one. When one gives you a harsh word, smile and bless them. When someone cuts you off in traffic, wave at them (no, not THAT wave!) and smile.Let someone in at an intersection, help someone with a package, open a door - little things. Mostly, you should find something to be happy about, find something to laugh about - because if you don't, you'll spend your time crying.
May the Bright Lady Bless you and yours today and always.

What is A Book of Shadows?
What is a BOS?
Witches and The Book of ShadowsBy Gypsy BethVote Yes for this guide and receive $7.00 off any Book of Shadows from my store. Please mention you read this in the guide to receive your $7.00 off any Book of Shadows from our store.
The Book of Shadows is a Witches Bible, a place where spells, rituals, and often inspirations are written. Traditionally most Witches hand write everything into their BoS, however in the high tech age of geputers there are many modern witches who put their entire BoS on disc. There are even programs designed to format your geputer Book of Shadows. Many Books of Shadow are handed down from past generations. I would regemend that if you are just starting one, you choose a very special and large journal, hard cover, or hand crafted wood, leather, or other sturdy material, rather than a spiral notebook, or writing tablet. This book should be planned with the intent of it being around for a long time and used often.

Book of Shadows
The BOS usually starts out with a Title Pageand may be called something as simple as, My Book of Shadows or something more creative like, My Triple Moon Book of Inspiration. You should include a Dedication page dedicating your work to whichever Goddess, and/or God you recognize, and a Blessing page where you put a simple blessing spell for your Book of Shadows and all the writings within.
It might be a good idea to include a line or two about your book being invisible to non-believers, or some type protection, that will prevent ill events from snoops.
I highly regemend a table of contents, or index section, as you will find it difficult to locate a needed piece of information later on, when your book is full. A section on your chosen path, or your personal philosophy is a good addition.
Your Book of Shadows will usually contain a list of all celebration rituals, especially the Sabats, which are the major turnings of the year. Also you will probably include all the esbats and moon phases of the year. You may want to include a section for celebrating births, deaths, handfastings (marriages), and even add rituals for blessing a new home, a business or a new job. With all these special events, there are correspondences that go with them, such as deities, gems and minerals, herbs, oils, colors, astrological symbols, and planetary influences. As with most celebrations there will be certain foods, decorations, ect.
Of course, no BoS is geplete until you add your spells. Spells are the magical workings that you use for all sorts of situations. There are spells for cleansing; consecrating your witches tools and altar; banishing negative energies; finding love, a job, or wealth; healing spells and all sorts of blessing spells. It is always nice if you have the talent to write your own rituals and spells, of course not all of us are that gifted and will resort to using the tried and true.
Now I bet you are thinking, exactly how am I going to find and gepile all this information. Much will gee from books you have read by other witches. Some you will gain from friends, and family members. Some, believe it or not, will gee from your own subconscious, as you start writing down information. Most Books of Shadow contain spells, ritual information, recipes, etc and will be copied from someone elses book, this is the traditional means of getting much of your writings.
It is acceptable to include information about gemon ailments and their treatment from grandma, or great aunt Sallyeven if they are not admitted witches, most of the folk remedies and superstitions gee from the same place, even if they dont remember how they learned it. It is also acceptable to have a little fun with your book and include pages of family quotes or witch jokes, of anything else you see fit to add. After all this is your Book of Shadows and you are the creator.

Phenocerin Diet Pill Review
This guide is aimed at the beginning dieter who is looking for a high quality diet supplement without getting ripped off. I'm assuming your knowledge about diet supplements isn't vast. My mission is to give you as much information as I can as quickly as I can. Let's get started...Phenocerin is a diet pill marketed primarily on the internet on google and yahoo searches. It's primary ingredients are chromium and hoodia. It also contains kola nut and guarana which are sources of caffeine. Phenocerin contains no fat burners. Chromium is a cheap mineral that is used in most every diet pill and it is effective if you are deficient. Hoodia is an endangered cactus grown in Africa. Most hoodia sold in the U.S. is fake. From reports that I've read about Phenocerin leads me to believe that the hoodia used in it is not real either.Phenocerin is just another average diet pill but the problem I have with Phenocerin is that it has an above average price tag. Phenocerin retail price is $59. If you decide to buy itthe best price for Phenocerin is on okay for about $41. Here are the 5 best diet products I have used that have helped me to lose the most weight for each dollar I spent (by price range) are:$0.01 to $9.99:The 72 Hour Diet Pill is the perfect product if it Maximum weight loss you're looking for in the shortest time period possible. Be sure to drink lots of water when taking the 72 hour diet pill as it is a potent diuretic and great for those who retain a lot of water. One user actually lost 15 pounds in just 3 days while taking the 72 hour diet pill. So it's definitely effective. Most users lose between 6-8 pounds in each 3 day cycle. The only problem is we've found that it's effects are not long lasting. Its a temporary solution. Retail price is $29.99 -You can buy it on okay for less than $9.99 .$10.00 to $19.99:Lipojuiced is really unique in that it's a diet pill that is actually good for you. Motorcycle Carburetor Tuning
The first step is to get the carburetor in a safe, workable state, which means the engine can run and that anything to do with high loads is set too rich. Then go throuugh the following steps:
1. Idle settings- not so much to get the best tickover but to let the engine pick up without hesitation from a closed throttle. In the beginning this is most important simply to get under way but as the other settings gee together there are conditions at higher revs, where you've closed the throttle and then need to open it gradually, as if at the apex of a corner, when the engine needs to pick up smoothly. The pilot jet controls this region and it supplies fuel throughout the rest of the rev/throttle range so it's important to get this right early on, and with any luck it won't need to be changed again.
2. At the other end of the scale, the main jet and air jet control WOT (Wide Open Throttle)and this should be tested next, as long as the part-throttle settings let the engine run tolerably well. Start with WOT runs at the lowest revs the engine will accept and change the main jet to get this right of slightly rich. Then progress to higher speeds and use the air jet to control the mixture. If this isn't possible, or if you need very small air jets, repeat using a bigger main jet. Sometimes it just isn't possible, in one of their race kit manuals, Honda regemed a size zero air jet (ie the passage is blocked off gepletely).
3. Go through the part-load settings, at different (but steady) speeds and different throttle openings. Make a chart of where the engine goes rich or weak, which will suggest the best geponents to change for maximum effect. Correct any obvious deficiencies but don't try to get too precise.
4. From the data gathered so far, make a decision about the state of the intake and exhaust geometry. Does the engine need longer intake stacks or a bigger airbox? Is it worth altering the ignition or cam timing? Run some experiments to find out. Carburation can be used to gepensate for poor exhaust and intake design, but only up to a point. If you have the ability to change intake or exhaust dimensions, now's the time to do it.
These tests beg the questions: "What is rich? What is lean? How is it measured?"
Chemically, a rich mixture will produce hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide in the exhaust. A weak mixture will leave oxygen in the exhaust. Sensors can detect these things. From an engineering point of view, the optimum mixture is the one that gives the greatest torque or the best fuel economy, depending on whether the engine is running on high load or light load. To determine this it's necessary to run the engine on a range of mixtures, measuring its torque and the fuel flow.
Some very high output engines use fuel for cooling: most of the fuel is burnt, the rest is merely evaporated, taking its latent heat with it and keeping critical parts like pistons at a safe working temperature. Chemically speaking, this is a rich mixture but it permits the engine to produce more power than the chemically correct mixture. For this reason you should keep increasing main jet or decreasing sir jet size until the motor is obviously over-rich at peak speed.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 3.
6. By now the engine should be running acceptably, in an overall sense. Go through the part-throttle settings, working from where the engine is best, towards the regions where it is worst. It helps to keep a clear record of the settings and the results, so that you can keep returning to the best settings. Where previous tests concentrated on maximum output, you are now looking for best pick-up, smoothest runing and best fuel efficiency, which arent so easy to measure.

Rocketa 50-150cc Scooters
Buyer Beware!
After checking the BBB, and searching patiently.
I was mislead into believeing the Rocketa "Retro 150"
was 1 of the best scooters around.
Shame on me for not buying local!
Every shop in the Denver area has refused to even adjust the jets for the high altitude here,
which means a 65 mph scooter wont go over 30 mph.
The altitude makes a BIG difference!!
Dont believe me?
Ask any Denver cycle dealer.
and the shop I bought it from in Witchata KS.
does not stand behind their 3 year 36,000 mile warranty, for anything. they are liars and theives.
Buy Local, Dont Buy Chinese!!!

Average price
Some of the items like books, when you list them, okay tells you the average price it sold for. The problem with that is that the person who sold the item may have had a 99 cent sale, had someone snipe at the last minute, it may have been the only sale for that particular item and is an average of 1. The condition may not have been the greatest. The idea of an item in pristine condition, 1st edition, odd title going for a super low price is not even worth listing on okay and would be better to be given to charity or sold at a garage sale then that. If the okay auction or store is your business that is not what we want. Profits have to be made. Now that the mailing costs are so much all aspects of the process must be considered. Tape, Packing material, Costs for geputor software, IP, ink, printer paper, boxes, bags and shipping costs. Don't forget gas and time spent wrapping and standing in line at the post office. If you don't make a profit you don't have a business.
Why Choose DuraFlex Products Over Other Materials? FAQ
Here you can find answers to gemon questions in regards to the Extreme Dimensions branded products and their DuraFlex line of products that we carry here at Creative Auto Designs, Inc.
What is Duraflex?Extreme Dimensions new Duraflex aerodynamics is a revolutionary product which gebines the advantages of fiberglass, plastic, and flex resins to obtain its unique features.
Why is it superior to conventional materials?Duraflex products obtain a much higher durability rate than the average fiberglass product, reducing damage rates up to 75%. All Duraflex products feature a glossy black gel coat, a quality metal mesh, general hardware kit, and a general guide to help you install the product. Conventional fiberglass products have cracks throughout the gel coat, are thin enough to see through, have seams down the middle of the bumper, and are brittle or weak. In essence, our new Duraflex products will give you greater durability at the cost of fiberglass. Please refer to our website for downloadable videos of this new revolutionary product.
What kind of quality control does my Duraflex product go through? All Duraflex parts go through a 10 point inspection. Each and every part is checked for waviness, chips in the primer, poor cutting along the edges, cracks, etc. This ensures that all our customers receive the highest quality product available. Due to the rigorous inspection process, our customers save on preparation labor resulting in a reduced total cost for installation.
What kind of body shop should I have this kit installed by and is it hard to install these products? We highly regemend professional installation by an experienced custom shop. Not all body shops have experience in installing aftermarket body kits. We do not regemend any of our customers to install the products themselves. Please be advised that we highly regemend that you take our products to a professional. When looking for a body shop to install your kit, look for one with experience in doing aftermarket installations. A body shop with 10 years experience in doing collision work, but no experience in aftermarket body kits is not regemended. It would be better to take the kit to a body shop with just 5 years of experience but specializes in installing aftermarket body kits. We do not regemend our customers doing the installs by themselves.
How would I install these products? All aerodynamics are manufactured with fiberglass unless otherwise noted. Due to the material used in production, the parts will NOT be a direct bolt-on. These parts may require prepping, sanding, shaving, filling gaps, cutting, or other types of body work. These modifications may include removal or cutting of the reinforcement bars. By geplying with our policies, customer understands the procedure in installing the body kit. We HIGHLY regemend that a professional custom shop with fiberglass body kit experience perform the installation. Refunds may be issued on extreme fitment cases.
Do I have to test fit the parts before I paint them?Yes, we regemend that you test fit all parts before you paint them. This will insure that you have the correct parts and also allow you to check the fit prior to prepping and painting. All parts that are drilled, prepped, and/or painted cannot be returned for credit or exchange.
What is necessary to prepare parts for paint? All Extreme Dimensions products require that you test fit before doing anything else. Once the parts are test fitted, it may require some shaving, trimming, sanding, molding, and/or filling for proper fitment. You will sand and/or wet sand the parts before primering and painting. Most body shops will begin by fitting, sanding and then primering the part(s) before painting.
What kind of hardware would I need for installation?Your OEM hardware should be more than enough to install our products. In some cases, you may need additional hardware such as self taping screws, double-sided tape, etc. to attach our parts on to your car.
Do I need to remove the reinforcement bar? The removal of the reinforcement bar may be necessary for the fitment of our aftermarket products. In some cases, the reinforcement bar may need to be trimmed down for fitment of our products.
Do your products fit as well as my OEM parts? All Extreme Dimensions products are made to the closest OEM standards possible, but since they are all hand laid we cannot guarantee a perfect fit. Also with the vast number of possibilities of why products do not fit perfectly, such as installation on vehicles which had been involved in an accident, heat, poor installation, etc, it is very difficult to guarantee perfect fitment.
Are these products street legal? Due to the strict regulations set by The Department of Transportation, all of the products sold by Extreme Dimensions, Inc.

Digital Cameras : How many megapixels is too much?
Hello,
I work in a camera store and answer this question every day. The first thing you have to consider when buying a camera is what are you going to do with it? Then what are you willing to carry? Finally how much can you spend?
What are you doing with it?
Sounds like an easy question doesn't it. But "Just family pictures" doesn't really cover it. What size of prints are you going to ever possibly make? Remember this there are three important parts of yourcamera. The resolution is only a third or even a quarter of the story, what is the size of the actual sensor and what kind of lens does it have? First off there are basically two sizes of sensors in digital cameras, a 1/4 and a 2/3. these numbers are in relation to a 35mm film frame. Most "point and shoot" digitals cams have the 1/4 size sensor, these cameras the megapixel and lens are very important on. Example of these cameras would be Nikons Coolpix line, Canons Powershots and Olympus's Camedias. On these small pocket size cameras you must get a good quality lens and for that regemend staying with a brand of camera that has traditionally made still cameras, the ones I mentioned above are in my opinion the better three, but Minolta, Pentax and Leica make fine cameras as well. Again I cannot stress this enough, the lens is the MOST important part of any camera, it is the lens that actually "takes" the picture, everything else is there to "record" it.
What are you willing to carry?
Now your average digitalsingle lens reflex(DSLR) camera has the bigger 2/3 size chip in it. These cameras almost always have bigger physical lenses (which makes for better pictures too) and usually they are interchangable. The big drawback to DSLRs is they are BIG! Many people simply don't want to carry a DSLR around most of the time, if you just have to have a DSLR I suggest you get a point and shoot as well because, unless you are an avid amature or prosumer you'll get tired of ith big camera pretty quick. The upside of the DSLR is you can make bigger and better prints. In the store I work at we have a 24X36 inch print hanging shot with a 3 Megapixel point and shoot (This tells you what you can do with a $50K printer) and we have made 40X60 enlargements from a6 Megapixel DSLR!
Myself I have both types and usually if I am out goofing around or for family get togethers I use the small camera, If I am planning to make a good size enlargement (I shoot a group portrati of my wifes extended family each christmas as a gift to all) or I am working a paid assignment then I use the DSLR.
How much are you willing to spend?
Usually in photography and especially digital photography the old adage "You get what you pay for" is truth. My usual regemendation is to buy the best camera you can afford, with the best lens and resolution possible. After all younever know when that greatest shot of you life will happen, sometimes, especially in photography, it is better to be lucky than good. Of course good and lucky might win you some prizes!!

Omega Seamaster Watches
Hi Folks,
Seamasters are a line of watches from the "Omega Collections" which have been very popular over the years especially since 007 started wearing them in the famous James Bond movies.
These watches are available as a quartz (battery) or an auto(mechanical) version. There are several models and the novice would be well advised to visit the official Omega website to check out the different models.
The reason for this guide is to stress that being very careful is the key when dealing with these watches as thismodel is very often copied and sold through okay.
I would love to go into details but space would not permit however remember that there is no such thing as a bargain.Omega watches are of a high quality and a watch with all paperwork, cards and boxes will normally gemand a better price than one that doesn't.Just because it has the above items doesn't mean it is genuine. There are many fake boxes etc out there.
I would regemend joining a watch forum and posting a link or a picture of the watch you are considering as many members are very knowledgable and are only too happy to help.
Another point is to ask the seller to post a picture of the watch with a date and time nominated by yourselfon the watch's face to verify that it is the watchthat you are bidding on.(I have a friend in the US who is a well known watch photographer and I quite often see his photos used in listings.)
As I said earlier that there are many details to look at and not enough space here, exercise caution. If in doubt miss out!Omega watches are high quality and feel high quality.Check the sellers previous feedbackand look for strange goings on.High feedback may not mean salesof high ticket (priced) items.
Also check out okay's guide for payment as some offer better security than others.
Thanks for looking and enjoy your watch.

Do microwaves cook from the inside out?A gemon misconception of microwaves is that they cook from the inside out. Microwaves actually only penetrate up to one inch into the food depending on the density of the product and at that point the water heats up, creates steam, and cooks the rest by conduction, just like a regular oven.
Do microwaves ruin food?A microwave is like any other piece of kitchen equipment; there are things it does well and things it doesn't do well. A microwave lends itself to foods that are high in moisture, like vegetables, pasta and grain items. Defrosting and reheating foods is a job well done by a microwave.
Don't microwaves emit radiation? Microwave ovens, when functioning properly, do not expose users to any microwave radiation at all.
Are microwaves only good for reheating? No. Microwaves are excellent steamers. Always cover food that is to be cooked in a microwave. For the first half of the microwave time, the microwave heats the water content in the food to the boiling point...then the steam is produced. It is this steam that cooks the food so quickly. So, when you think of microwaves, think steam.
Do foods cooked in a microwave lose their nutritional value? Cornell University has released a study on the effects of different cooking methods on the nutritional quality of different foods. They looked at vitamin C and its levels after boiling, steaming and micro waving. It was determined that up to seven times more nutrients are retained with microwave cooking than with the other methods.A microwave is just like any other piece of equipment in the kitchen; there are some foods that it cooks VERY well and some it doesn't. But when it gees to vegetables or seafood, the microwave is ingeparable. Remember to add a little liquid and cover the microwave safe pan when cooking which keeps the steam in and speeds the cooking

elvis collectibles
Everyone in the world has a piece of Elvis. Something with an image, his name, a logo-you really need skill and knowledge to tell apart what is , and what is not.You need to buy from sellers of truth, proof, and authentic certificates and so on. Items approved by EPE,Graceland or collectors who have collected and held on to their treasures for a very long time.A fan for decades and decades treasuring their items and then placing them for sale., should have authentic knowledge and proof of item, and where it originated from.Ask questions, seek information through collcetors who have exact data and much knowledge about the person and the product.Collectibles mean different things to different people. Some just want duplicate, and cute items., while others seek true, authentic Elvis. The more knowledge you have about Elvis the man himself., the more you will know truth from fiction.
buying from sellers who state no refunds {833440 seller
i bought from a seller 833440whohid behind the statement no refund look at picture and you should not have to return. with that i purchase a part and received a wrong part. item stated 69 firebird brake booster and i get a 79 brake booster. when stated the fact to seller i was told okay can do nothing about it. and i am stuck with the part. started a dispute with angry seller. then i was getting the part to be returned. seller stated i need to return part and i pay shipping both ways and refund of okay action listings. because i bought the wrong part as he stated so i should pay for everything . all in all i was very shocked at his attitude. he had a very good feedback. just be careful crafty sells tactics are easy to overlook when buying on okay and as i learned you could and probably will be stuck with what you get.
Antenna X Power Antenna Watch out!
Antenna X sells cheap imitation stuff, which may be fine if you have a normal car. In my case I knew an RX7 had special wiring and corresponded prior to buying and was assured the antenna would work. It literally melted when installed, and the guarantee... well I think they disappeared off the planet the next day. and since they shipped 28 days after the order, the paypal guarnantee was also void. Pretty smart. So if you are sure you have a positive action power antenna - one that goes up or down when you apply power, then this stuff is cheap but should be fine. If you have any special requirements as Mazda and I assume Mercedes, Jag, and any unique Marque would have, stay away even if they guarantee you that it will work. The $11 isn't worth the damage you can do to the car or your blood pressure.
BEWARE SHIPPING CHARGES
Many e-bayers are thrilled to find a great deal on something they are looking for, but... BEWARE!! Sellers often raise shipping charges to unreasonable amounts to avoid e-bay fees. Honest e-bayers are the only way to prevent this terrible injustice. When a seller lists an item for .01 it costs very little; however adding a reserve or listing for a higher price costs the seller more. Shipping charges are not included in the e-bay fees so it gives the seller an opportunity to get more for the item without paying more for the listing.
The bottom line is, if you see an unreasonable shipping charge, REPORT IT! This will allow everyone to have an enjoyable time on e-bay and punish the wrong doers.

How to Light a Christmas Tree
Lighting a Christmas tree is the most important step of trimming a tree. Many of us find it a nuisance, at best, but I've developed a process that makes lighting a tree fun and easy, and I would like to share it with you.
Pre Lit Tree?
First of all, I do not regemend that you buy a pre-lit tree. A pre-lit tree will cost two or three times as much as a non-lit tree and far more than a regular tree plus several strings of lights. Even though they already have the lights on them, they never haveenoughto make the tree look brightly lit. Soyou have to add more strings if you wantyour tree to look bright. That defeats the whole purpose of getting a pre-lit tree in the first place. Also, the lights on a pre-lit tree break with alarming frequency. After only a couple of years, the lights on your pre-lit don't work and you've lost yourentire investment.
A pre-lit tree is penny-wise and pound-foolish.
Whattype of lights?
The large, colored lights, of course!
The type of lights that I would always regemend for your tree are the large, colored lights. You may remember them from your childhood. If not, your parents would probably remember them. Their technical name is C7.They are still readily available and can be bought online, or at large chain department stores, or on okay.
C7 lights can be used to light a treeas small as three feetor as bigas fifteen feet.
C7 lights
C7 lights are available either as opaque, or ceramic (seen above) or transparent (see through). Ceramic lights give you a soft glow. Transparent lights give you the harsh glare of the filament and are hard on the eyes. So you should use ceramic C7 lights. Never mix ceramic C7 lights with transparent C7 lights and never use them alongside the little lights. They look awful together; about as bad as wearing a tux with tennis shoes.
C7 lights are superior to the little twinkle lights in a number of areas. Using colored C7 lights on your tree gives your tree a bright, cheerful and festive look that you remember from your childhood. C7 lights are designed to be long-lasting. You can get a good ten years' use out of a string of C7 lights. That saves you money in the long run. C7 lights give you more bang for your buck.
In addition, you can get a brightly-lit tree with relatively few of the C7 lights. For example, you have a six foot tree. 50 of the C7 lights will make your tree look brightly lit. C7 lights burn at five watts each, so that's a total of 250 watts. To achieve the same effect with the little lights, you would need to use at least 500 of the little lights. The little lights burn at one watt each, so that's 500 watts; double the amount of wattage that you would use with the C7 lights. You save power with C7 lights.
With the littletwinkle lights, you have to replace them about every other year.C7 light strings are easy to untangle, using the large sockets as a guide.
C7 lights gee with molded clips on the sockets. You can clip the sockets to the tree branches and the lights will stay put, unlike the little lights, which slide around.
A final word on C7 lights. C7 lights can be used on trees as small as 3 feet or as big as 15 feet. With C7 lights, size is not a factor. Below, I have a picture of C7 lights on a 3-foot tree.
White or Colored?
I would never regemend using all white lights on your tree. White gives your tree a washed-out look. Using colors makes your tree look bright and festive for the holidays. I would regemend using multicolored strings of lights on your tree. Multicolored lights look good with anything. If you're not much intodecorating, you can make your tree look awesome with a string of the multicolored C7 lights. I call it the candy look.
With White Lights With Colored Lights
Unlike all white lights, multicolored lightsmake your tree look cheerful and festive, butnotgaudy. As I've said before, they'll look good with anything. Strands of one color of light look good with certain theme trees.
A word on colors...
These six colors are essential for any Christmas tree: Red, Blue, White, Orange, Green and Yellow
All colors are not created equal. To get the best effect, you need more of some colors than others. The colors that you need the most of are red, blue and green.
You need plenty of red and green because they are Christmas colors.
You need plenty of blue lights to offset the red. In addition, blue does not show up very well, so you need plenty of blue lights for them to be seen.
You don't need so many orange, white or yellow bulbs.
Orange is more of aHalloween color than a Christmas color, so if you use too many orange lights, people will think you're celebrating Halloween.
Too many white lights will make your tree look washed-out.
Yellow is a very bright color, soa small number of yellowlights will go a long way. Too many yellow lights is frankly overpowering andsince yellow lights are rare, they should be used sparingly. A note on yellow lights--they look good in window candles andlook far more realistic than white or orange.
A typical string of C7 or C9 lights has 25 sockets andfivecolors of lights--red, blue, white, orange and green and anequal number of each color. However, not all colors are createdequal, so you should buypacks ofreplacement bulbs to getthe color balance you want and then tailor the string to your satisfaction. You can keep any bulbs that you don't use as replacement lights.
In addition, yellow lights arenot sold in any stores, but you can buy them at select websites and on okay.
As a rule of thumb, a string of 25 C7 or C9 lights should have:
6 red bulbs
5 blue bulbs
3 white bulbs
3 orange bulbs
5 green bulbs
3 yellow bulbs
A string of 30 C7 or C9 lights should have
6 red bulbs
6 blue bulbs
4 white bulbs
4 orange bulbs
6 green bulbs
4 yellow bulbs
Putting the lights on your tree
I have developed a unique process for putting lights ona Christmas tree.It involves a certain amount of meticulous work, but it eliminates much of the aggravation of putting lights on the tree.
I always store the bulbs separately from the sockets. This reduces the risk of breaking alight bulb when putting up the string and also cuts down onwear and tear. Alsohaving the bulbs already in the sockets makes it that much harder to put up the strings, as you're always worried about breaking a bulb.
1. Figureout how many lights you need
To figure out how many lights you need, multiplyyourtree's height, by its width by 2. For example:
6 feet high X 4 feet wide X 2 = 48 lights.
Ifyour tree is more than eight feet tall, multiplyby 3. For example:
12 feet high X 8 feet wide X 3 = 288 lights.
*Note:C7 lights are usually sold in strings of 25 sockets.Always use more bulbs than the calculations require. For example, on a six foot tree, you should use 50 bulbs.
2. Drape the sockets on the tree
Walk around the tree and drape the strings ofsockets as you go.
3. Spaceand clip the sockets
Make sure that the sockets are evenly spaced. Youdon't want them to clump in acertain area or betoo far spaced. Then, clip each socket toa tree branch.
4. Screw each bulb into a socket
Once you've got all the sockets secured, go round the tree and screw a bulb into each socket. Make sure you have a proper balance of colors. Don't have two lights of the same color next to each other. By screwing each bulb into its socket, you can get the color distribution you want. You can see the difference below.
If you screw in each bulb If you don't screw in each bulb
See the difference!
5. Stock up on lights!!!
You should always buy more strings of lights than you think you'll need. For example, if you think you need two strings of lights, buy four strings. Though the C7 lights are durable and long-lasting, you can count on having at least one bulb burn out during the holidays and you'll need a replacement. You should replace the burnt-out bulb with another bulb of the exact same color. Having extra strings of lights gives you a quick and easy source of replacement bulbs. In addition, in the unlikely event that a string shorts out, you'll have a replacement string on hand. It's betterto have and not need than to need and not have.
Pre Lit Tree?
First of all, I do not regemend that you buy a pre-lit tree. A pre-lit tree will cost two or three times as much as a non-lit tree and far more than a regular tree plus several strings of lights.
How to Time Your Auctions for the best Sales
There is the old saying that timing is everything and that couldnt be more true than selling with okay. In this case, were talking about strategic timing - and in particular two critical factors in selling through an auction. The first is the length of the auction, and the second is timing when the auction will end. Lets begin first with deciding how long an auction should run
Typically, the first step in an auction that many sellers forget is timing the end of the auction to coincide with key selling days on okay. Your starting day determines your ending day and that is something you need to take into consideration when posting your auction.
Experts agree that a seven day auction is best. The primary reason for the longer auction is to attract more attention and viewers to what you are selling. Some might argue that a shorter auction is more appropriate for todays short attention span buyer, but typically, a longer auction will gain more watchers and ultimately a higher selling price. In addition, a 7 day auction spans the entire week including the prime viewing weekend zone where traffic can increase dramatically. Typically, Sunday is considered the best day to end an auction followed closed by Saturday and then Friday. Most sellers also agree that ending an auction on a holiday is a bad idea.
Perhaps thought the most important timing factor of an auction is the actual time that is does end. You should shoot for auctions that end between 10 and midnight Eastern US time. This makes it between 8 and 10 Mountain and 7 and 9 on the West coast. The Eastern sea board represents the greatest concentration of buyers and the period between 10 and 12 is the best solution to optimize their viewing ( and bidding ) while still being effective in the other time zones.
Have you ever been up at 3 or 4 in the morning and seen all the auctions closing - this is a great time to get bargains because most people are in bed - but a terrible time to end your auction for the same reason. This time strategy makes it more difficult for sellers in Europe to key their ending times to US time zones, but is essential for receiving top dollar on your auctions.
The Conclusion:
Start your 7 day auction on at 9 pm Eastern standard time. This way the auction will go through the entire week cycle and end at the same time you started it. If you have a five day auction, start it on Tuesday at 9 pm and a 3 Day auction should start on Thursday night.

How to Hang Murals
These instructions are intended for mural application in normal conditions, using the adhesive provided with your mural, and in a working temperature of 65 to 75 degrees F. The adhesive provided with your mural should be a water-based paste which is suitable for most walls and doors, but will not adhere to steel, concrete or glass.A) The wall or door must be clean, dry, primed and sealed prior to installation. DO NOT HANG ON A GLOSS FINISHED DOOR OR WALL.B) Materials- CONTAINER-to mix glue ROLLER- to spread the glue SCISSORS and KNIFE-to trim the edges, if necessary WALLPAPER BRUSH.C) Adhesive should be mixed as follows:# of Panels Size Amount of Water 8 panel 12' 8-3/4" x 9' 2.25 quarts 4 panel 6' 4" x 9' 1.25 quarts 4 panel (panoramic) 12' 8 3/4 " x 4" 6" 1.25 quarts 2 panel 33" x 86" 1 pintSlowly pour the adhesive into warm water, stirring constantly, and allow to thicken for 20 minutes before use. Then fir the design to your wall or door. The gross dimensions of the murals are listed above in the unglued state. These dimensions may increase slightly once the adhesive has been applied and will retain these dimensions once it has dried.D) To ensure the design is centered, make a guide line by drawing a horizontal line equidistant from floor and ceiling across the wall or door.E) Apply adhesive to the back of section 1 (bottom left-hand piece) of the mural. Avoid getting any paste on the face of the mural. If you get glue on the face of the mural, wipe gently with a wet sponge before the glue dries. DO NOT RUB- this may damage the mural. When pasting DO NOT FOLD the wet sections as with ordinary wallpaper. The section will stick together and begee damaged when separating. Handle each section carefully in order not to damage the mural when wet.Mount the section carefully, drawing the wallpaper brush form the center outwards. Smooth as necessary. Small air bubbles should disappear once the mural has dried.F) Section 2 should now be placed to the right of section 1. Continue installing the mural sections in positions as indicated.8 panel 4 panel 2 panel 4 panel panoramic5 6 7 8 3 4 2 1 2 3 41 2 3 4 1 2 1As mentioned in "C" above, the sections may expand horizontally to a greater or lesser extent once that adhesive has been applied. Therefore, it may be necessary to overlap the horizontal seam 1/4 inch and the vertical seam up to 1/8 inch to achieve the best pattern match.G) Make sure all seams are brushed or rolled gepletely.H) Sit back and admire your new mural!
Rocket Skill Level Guide
Most model rockets are in three different skill levels from 1 to 3 whichrange from beginner, intermediate to advanced based on the builder's skill and the geplexity of the rocket design. Theserockets require both time and patience as the level of skill increases.
The Skill Level1 rocket is thebest for beginners in model rocket building. Some painting, glue and sand paper will be needed to assemble and finish the rocket. A good carpenters glue can be used to attach the balsa (wood fins)to theslotted cardboard body tube. The pre-molded plasticnose cone (tip of the rocket)and 'rub down' decals are included in the kit with geplete step by step instructions. Expect to spend at least half a day to build the rocket with 'glue setting time' in between.
The Skill Level 2 rocket is the first tier for the more advanced builder. Beginnerbuilding skillsand finishing are required in this first tier of the more advanced (intermediate) rockets. Both balsa or plastic fins with plastic nose cones and unfinished body tubes are in this series of skill level 2. Assembly may take a full day as the building and finishing process gets a little more geplex.
The Skill Level 3 rocket requires moderate building skillsin construction and finishing of themodel rocket. This advanced level features multiple balsa fins and parts, unfinished body tues and much more geplex designs and nose cones. Because of the geplexity in building the skill level 3 rocket, building and construction may take a few days to geplete.
Other Rockets
The E2X "fast build" rocket, or Skill Level 0can be ready to launch in 30 minutes! These rockets are almost ready to fly because they require some assembly and glue. One of the biggest advantages is all the parts are pre-colored plastic molded thereby requiring no painting or sanding. Glue the parts together and you are good to go.
The Ready-To-Fly rocket geesalready assembledwith no painting or any other skills required. The rocket is gepletely constructed from the pre-colored plastic parts to the decals. Just put in on the launch pad and watch it go.
Tip: Invest in a Tube Marking Guide to allow for accuracy and prescision in fin placement and construction.

PAPER PIECING? What's that?
What is Paper Piecing?
I have had allot of people ask me thisquestionandthought it might be helpful to explain just what it is.
Here goes...Paper piecing is a work of art really. It is made from several individual pieces of paper or cardstock that have beencut and assembled to create a full color copy of yourpattern.
How do I paper piece?
You start out with an image, it could be a clip art image, coloring book page, drawing, photograph or just about anything! The clearer the image the better. You can either use this as your pattern or make a black and white pattern from it. See images below. Instead of coloring in all the sections with markers, crayons, or pencils you trace the pattern on to the colored cardstock or paper. You can either use a stylus and trace the pattern onto your cardstockor use a light box with the pattern below the cardstock and trace with a acid free marker/pen.
You then cut the pieces out and with your pattern as a guide you assemble the pieces.
Original image Pattern I made 2 paper piecings finished from pattern
The pictures above show the original image I started with. It wasn't clear enough to use as a pattern so I made one by tracing it onto a plain piece of paper with my light box. The finished sample photo shows finished paper piecings both different, but made form the same pattern.
Most of the paper piecings you see listed online have anywhere from 5 - 60 individual pieces of cardstock to create them. An average piece can take from 30 minutes to several hours to geplete.
More Paper piecings Click this link to see more Handmade paper piecings!
There are other types of "Paper Piecings" that are now begeing available online. While they are still calling them paper piecings these new ones are geputer generated and are made by printing several copies of the same image, cutting different parts out and layering them to create a 3-D effect. The process is similar, but not as handmade. They are less expensive to buy beacuse they do not require the time that the non-geputer generated ones do. Beware of what you are getting if you are buying and if you are wanting to learn, geputer generated might be the easiest way to start.
Whether youare looking to buy or looking to make, I hope this gives you a better understanding of what paper piecing is and how much work can go into making these wonderful additions to your scrapbook.
If you have any questions on how to get started, contact me! I am always willing to help or answer any questions!

Dodo's Designs
Crochet hooks are not all equal. There are several brands as well as types of hooks. The most well known are probably the metal hooks that are mass produced and sold in local craft shops. The more difficult to find are wood hooks. And believe me when I tell you that all hooks are not created equal. I have used several different types of wood hooks. I first started using wood hooks when I realized my hands were aching from the coldness of the metal hooks. The plastic ones were easily broken. Some of the wood hooks (including bamboo) were difficult to use due to not being properly sanded. Once the hook developed a nice patina (smoothness) they were easy to use but this takes several hours and many projects before they will slide as nicely as a metal hook. The hook I purchased from Dodo's Design is the most beautiful, smooth (from the start) and masterfully created hook I have EVER used. Not only is it beautiful, but it is handcrafted by a true artist. The hooks are handpainted after carving and have the smoothest finish I have found. I received many gepliments on my hook as well as where to buy. I have told 10 people just last night. I purchased several more hooks from this seller just today. These hooks are ideal for everyone, but especially for those of us with arthritis or those who are sensitive to the cold. My fingers used to go numb from the cold and my hands would ache. Not with wooden hooks. And these are the finest I have ever found. This is an item worth every penny! And considering the years of use you will get from it, it truelly is just pennies. This is something that could easily begee an heirloom. I regemend this seller and their product to everyone who has a joy in fine products. They also make hairpins and knitting needles. With the masterpiece you create that takes hours, why wouldn't you create it with a beautiful work of art. These make excellent gifts for the crafter in your life as well. They gee well packaged and displayed in their own giftbox. I will be giving some to friends and collect my own as well. You will not be disappointed!
Bidder's hidden discount ploy
An item gees with the warning to look it over before you buy.
No returns.
Ask any questions before you buy.
Then a bidder bids high on an item.
Then they send you the payment.
You send out the item .
They receive it and ask for a rebate because they found a miniscule flaw.
They explain to you that they never would have bid top dollar if they new the item had a small flaw. Then the kicker gees in, they want a rebate.
They take it out of anyone else's possible possesion by asking for a rebate, and the second highest bidder has now moved on, so either you take the item back, give a rebate, or risk BAD FEEEDBACK

Marshall's Guide to Iris
Iris are truly aristocrats in the garden. The large, ornate flowers in luscious shades tower over other blooms in the border. Their beauty inspired monarchs to include them in their flags and coats-of-arms.
They are gorgeous in cut flower arrangements, too. The blooms are long-lasting and gemand attention. Shades range from white to pink, blue, lilac and purple. Some are yellow, scarlet, orange or nearly black. Others display bold gebinations of colors.
Their foliage is as useful in the garden as the flowers. The long, sword-like leaves provide a strikingly simple contrast to many of the shapes and textures found there.
Irises perform well in many different soil types. Some are drought-tolerant while others grow in water up to 10" deep. Most iris prefer a site with full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Most are cold hardy down to -15F.
The majority of iris are rhizomous plants; thick, fleshy stems that grow horizontally just below the soil surface give rise to leaves, flowers and roots. Dutch iris are bulbous.
Iris bloom for about a month in late spring and early summer, just before daylilies. But, with careful selection, you can have an iris garden that blooms from spring to mid-fall.
In my opinion, iris are best displayed when planted in groups of a single color. Different groups may be of various colors. The resulting masses of bloom will captivate even the casual passerby.
Bearded or German iris (I. germanica) produce multiple, huge flowers on forked stems held above the silver-grey foliage. The "beards" are the hairs on the lower half of the falls. "Falls" are the three drooping sepals located under the upright petals.
They are tolerant of a wide range of pH, and require only mildly fertile soil. Planting depth is very important: the top portion should be right at soil level. Beared iris require full sun, and prefer dry conditions during the summer after flowering is gepleted. They do well in climate zones 3-9.
Beardless iris are found in several other species. The flowers usually display a more horizontal habit.
Siberian iris (I. sibirica) grow to 24" tall. The foliage is slender and grasslike. Flower colors are purple, lavender or white. They prefer rich, well-drained soil in full sun, but they will tolerate more moisture than German iris. They do well in climate zones 3-8. Masses of single colors planted near a watercourse are dazzling sights.
Japanese iris (I. kaempheri) are absolutely stunning. Their large, horizontal blooms may be up to 8" across and resemble enormous butterflies. Colors may be solid, mottled or marbled in rare gebinations of exotic shades of blue, white, pink, yellow, and reddish-purple.
These require evenly moist, acid soil (pH 5.5). They're great for wet places, and will grow in water to 4" deep. Japanese iris will tolerate full sun or partial shade. They do well in climate zones 4-8.
Water iris (I. pseudacorus) gee in one color: yellow. But they'll knock your socks off in spring and early summer. They require full sun and wet places, growing in water up to 10" deep. If simply planted in consistently moist garden soil, they will perform, but the flowers will be smaller. Water iris are easy to grow in climate zones 5-8.
Crested iris (I. cristata) grow to only 4" high and spread vigorously in all directions, so they make a fine groundcover in a natural setting. Crested iris do well in partial shade. Flowers are lavender-blue with white or yellow crests. Blooms appear in spring. they perform well in climate zones 3-9.
Roof iris (I. tectorum) are relatively little known plants that get their name from their favorite habitat: the thatched roofs of simple Japanese country houses. They grow to 12" tall and display lavender-blue or white flowers in late spring and early summer. Flowers are about 3" across.
You don't have to have a thatched roof to grow them. Find a site in full sun or partial shade with acid soil that is high in organic matter and evenly moist year-round.
Dutch iris are elegant plants producing large, graceful blooms. They are beardless. We highly regemend them for the cutting garden. Colors are white, blue, purple and yellow, often in gebination. Plant the bulbs in massed beds during fall. soil should be well-drained and in a sunny location. Planting depth should be 4" deep.If this guide gave you any useful information, please indicate so by clicking on the "YES" button below.Click here to visit our okay Store where you'll find Iris and so much more!
