OEM KINGS - BUYER BEWARE

I warned my son not to purchase a phone from someone with only 97% feedback, but he was insistent. He's now $40+ dollars poorer, but A LOT wiser.
Purchased phone advertised as "100% guaranteed to activate with US Cellular or your money back." (Item: Motorola Razr V3C V3 US Cellular Razr Razor CDMA Phone)
We received a Verizon phone which,if you are at all knowledgable about cell phones (as a gepany that sells them should be!), is not gepatible with US Cellular. Contacted OEM and they offered to send a DIFFERENT Verizon phone or issue a refundminus a15% restocking fee.
(1) Verizon phones ARE NOT gepatible with US Cellular (am I repeating myself here?); and
(2) What about the 100% guarantee? With a 15%restocking fee - I believethat is only an 85% money back guarantee.
We lost 15% of the purchase price, the $18.23 they charged for shipping, and the $5.35 we paid to send the phone back (in the original packageWITH insurance and delivery confirmation). Obviously, they make their money on the shipping and 15% re-stocking fee and don't stand by their 100% guarantee. With the volume they evidently do (judging by their feedback numbers), they still make a pretty profit on fees and postage and they can re-sell the phone again . . .
As I said, my sonlost some money (and was a bit disappointed), but some hard-learned lessons sometimes cost. Be sure you aren't one of those that OEM Kings statistics. This is definitely a "BUYER BEWARE" situation. Explore other options before getting into adeal with this gepany!
(I have never left negative feedback on any okay purchase -- this was a first, and I'm not happy about it! They will probably respond and ruin my 100% feedback rating, but IDC! People are getting ripped off and these people should not be allowed to sell on okay unless they clean up their act!)
