WE ALL WANT TO DRESS OUR KIDS IN THECUTEST CLOTHES THAT OFTEN ARE MADE BYTHE MOST EXSPENSIVE BRANDS, AND I WAS DROPPING AT LEAST 500$ A VISIT TO MY FAVORITE BOUTIQUEAND WHENEVER THE MANAGER SAW ME HER EYES LIT UP AND EVERY SALESGIRL KNEW MY NAME AND RAN TO HELP ME. THOUGH I COULD AFFORD WHAT I WAS BUYING I FELT QUILTY SPENDING ALMOST 100$ ON A NEW "FLOWERS BY ZOE OUTFIT" A BRAND THAT JUST HAPPENS TO BE PRECIOUS AND A BRAND WHO ACTUALLY FITS MY SKINNY 7 YEAR OLD.
OF COURSEI BUY LOTS OF OTHER BRANDS THAT HANG WITH ZOE LIKE LILI PULITZER, J M ORIGINALS, SO FUN, AND MY SECOND FAVORITE PRICEY BRAND LITTLE MASS! SO I PULLED OUT OF DAUGHTERS CLOSET AFTER LAST SUMMER ALL THE SCHOOL CLOTHES FROM LAST SEASONMANY LOOKED PRACTICALLY UNWORN EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE NOT NEW AND LOOKED UP THE "ZOE" SITE ON okay AND WAS AMAZED GENTLY WORN ZOE LISTINGS HAD NUMEROUS BIDS AND SOME WERE UP TO 45$ AND UP??? THEN IT STRUCK ME! MANY BUYERS WHO CERTAINLY AFFORD NEW CLOTHING BY ZOE AS WELL AS THOSE WHO COULDN'T AFORD OR WOULD NOT SPEND THE RETAIL PRICE OF A NEW ZOE OUTFIT WERE WILLING TO SPEND HALF OR MORE OF WHAT I ORIGINALLY PAID AND THESE CLOTHES WERE NOT NEW!!! THE DEMAND FOR DESIGNER KIDS CLOTHES GENTLY WORN IS HUGE! ONE WEEK IN SEPT I SOLD 3700.00$ ON MY 2 LITTLE GIRLS TOO SMALL CLOTHES!!!!!
I WAS GETTING NEARLY A 50 PERCENT "REBATE" AND I ALSO STARTING BUYING OTHER PEOPLE'S ZOE CLOTHING . AT FIRST I WAS A LITTLE NERVOUS BUYING "USED CLOTHING" BUT I WAS DELIGHTED A MY FIRST FEW PURCHASES. I WAS SELLING AND BUYING KIDS CLOTHES AND IT WAS COSTING ME PRACTICALLY NO MONEY! IT WAS LIKE TRADING BASEBALL CARDS! IN A LARGER SIZE!
THE PHONE WAS RINGING FROM MY FAVORITE KIDS STORE I MENTIONED EARLIER, IS EVERYTHING O.K? THEY THOUGHT I WAS STAYING AWAY BECAUSE A SALESPERSON WAS RUDE OR I WAS OFFENDED BY SOMETHING AND I JUST ANSWERED I AM BUSY WORKING I'LL BE IN, NOT WANTING TO EXPLAIN HOW BUYING AND SELLING ON okay SAVED ME SO MUCH MONEYMY HUSBAND COULDN'T BELIEVEI WAS BEING MORE RESPONSIBLE WITH MONEY AND AT THE SAME TIME MY KIDS STILL LOOKEDASWELL DRESSED AS THEY ALWAYS DID!
MY ADVICE TO SELLERS STARTING OUT BE HONEST IF THE ITEM HAS A MARK OR LITTLE FADING DESCRIBE ACURATELY.MOST PEOPLE DO NOT MIND A LITTLE FLAW AND IT IS TO BE EXPECTED THESE ARE NOT NEW CLOTHES! ON MY SITE I HAVE A SEPARATE PARAGRAPH STATING BUYERS WHO BELIEVE USED CLOTHES = NEW CLOTHES AND WANT PERFECTION PLEASE REFRAIN FROM BIDDING. I LEARNED FROM EXPERIENCE SOME BUYERS REALLY BELIEVE THEY ARE GETTING A PERFECT ITEM!
BE REALISTIC, KIDS ARE KIDS .MANY LISTINGS HAVE PRACTICALLY NEW WORN 1X OR TWICE OUTFITS, ESPECIALLY PARTY DRESSES, BUT MOST ITEMS SHOW SOME WEAR . ADVICE TO SELLERS AGAIN LIST ITEM ACCURATELY, TAKE PHOTO OF A NOTICIBLE FLAW AND USE MY GOLDEN RULE THAT HAS WORKED SO WELL FOR ME. "IF YOU WOULDN'T DRESS YOUR OWN CHILD IN THE CONDITION OF THE ITEM YOU ARE LISTING, DON'T LIST IT!
STARTING WITH A LOW OPENING BID USUALLY ATRRACTS MANY BIDDERS MANY WAITING BY THE gePUTER THE LAST HOUR SO THEY CAN GIVE THAT FINAL WINING BID! I PROXY BID A GREAT okay IDEA!
OH ,AND JUST TO MENTION I STILL SHOP OCASSIONALLY IN MY FAVORITE STORE BUT I WAIT TILL THEY HAVE A GREAT SALE!!!!!!! AND I BUY EVERYSIZE IN MY FAVORITE BRANDS. WHEN THEY geMENT THATS NOT YOUR DAUGHTERS SIZE I JUST SMILE AND SAY ITS NOT FOR FOR THEM, I GET A STRANGE LOOK, BUT I SMILEANDTHINK HOW GREAT THESE CLOTHES WILL LOOK ON MY okay SITE, MY LITTLE SECRET!
